PrideFest Appreciates Its Volunteers - Pride South Florida is seeking volunteers to help make sure that PrideFest 2010 is a huge success! We welcome new faces and new ideas. Community members who’d like to participate in our organization, whether it be on our Board or as a much needed volunteer, are greatly appreciated. Pride South Florida is thrilled to celebrate our 33rd Anniversary in March of 2010. We invite you to become a part of this exciting celebration! We can’t think of a better way to show your true “colors”! Volunteers to help set up PrideFest are crucial to its success. Without the caring people who take time to help with all the prep work, PrideFest would not happen. We have shifts for set up on Thursday, March 11th and Friday, March 12th. We also are in need of volunteers to help during the event itself on Saturday, March 13th and Sunday, March 14th, 2010. Set up of the festival is a many hands job which involves heavy lifting and much movement. If you are unable to assist in set up activities due to limitations, we’re sure you can find a spot to fill during the event itself as it offers many activities from that need the
assistance of volunteers. Don't worry...we don't expect our volunteers to be all work and no play! We have many shifts available to ensure that each of our volunteers has time to enjoy PrideFest.
